The ivory crew, worn without ceremony
It is the sweater one puts on for luncheon in the garden and forgets, until someone asks where it was made. Scottish cashmere, the colour of unbleached linen, a crest you only see when the collar is turned.
Capulet does not cut knitwear to perform. The crew sits at the hip because that is where a jumper belongs when one still has errands after the meal.
